Large polychrome earthenware planter from Blois by Ulysse Bernard known as Ulysse (1828-1899). The planter is mounted on 4 scrolled feet, decorated with chimeras and foliage on a royal blue background. Central decoration of a gentleman hunting, and on the other side, a royal decoration with crowned fleur-de-lis. Signed underneath. Please note: a few cracks in the bottom of the planter (nothing serious, superficial cracks) and a very old small chip on the inside edge. See photos. Length 43.5 cm Width 24 cm Height 16 cm
