"2 Watercolors After Engravings By David Roberts, Views Of Granada"
These 2 watercolors are executed after the lithographs of David Roberts on Grenade. Each watercolor is monogrammed AT and dated 1836. The watercolors are glued on a sheet mounted in a drum on the back cardboard, while the supports are very oxidized there are only a few rust spots on the works. On the back of the mount, repeated on each back an annotation at the top right: given by Mr D. Paris on September 20, 1843. In the center of the back a handwritten placard tells a funny story. The mounts are from the period.
