A rare lobed Kakiemon teapot. The body of the teapot is decorated with prunus flowers in red, green and blue enamels.

This teapot is incomplete, the lid and handle are missing, but it is nevertheless a rare and interesting document.

The lid is missing and the handle is also missing. A metal fitting has been adapted to the teapot in order to provide it with a handle. The metal lid also has a wooden handle. The teapot has a crack in the neck at the opening of approximately 4cm. The teapot also has a chip on the neck at the opening. Traces of the old handle, probably damaged, can be seen under the frame at the handle.
The condition of the porcelain under the frame cannot be guaranteed, although there are no other visible signs of damage.
