Large cup on heel called 'turtle' place in reference to its geometric decoration of plain fire seemingly reproducing this radiating zoomorphic motif, in yellow, manganese, powerful blue manganese and melting green.
Strong decorative effect due to its brigth colors and original shape.
These dishes could be sometimes enhanced after firing with red minium stains, but these additions wear off quickly and disappear with daily use.
Overall good condition despite a chip on the edge. The other visible bump around its perimeter on the defects is a simple and slight original firing defect. Traces of the support of the ceramic during its single firing, are visible inside the center of the bowl and not under it, which is usual for the making of these dishes.
