Jan Antoon NEUHUYS was a Dutch painter born on April 16, 1832 in Haarlem and died on November 1, 1891 in Antwerp. He specialized in genre scenes and portraits. He was the brother of the painter Joseph Hendrikus Neuhuys. The Amsterdam Museum holds works by this artist.
