Large Open Bookcase In Oak Empire Style - 19th Century

Elegant large open oak bookcase style retour d'égypte (come back from Egypte / Empire) from the second half of the 19th century - France
This still was made when Napoléon came back from Egypte.

Superb work composed of three sections with the front uprights dressed in blackened carved wooden caryatids supported by pilasters ending with small pairs of feet also in carved wood.

Very beautiful top which has a beautiful patina and very beautiful molding work

Well proportioned and simple lines.

Large model which has the advantage of not being too high.
