Cabinet late 18th early 19th century and its base with rich decoration of red-tinted tortoiseshell (in paintings) in frames of tin nets with umbilicus on an ebony background. Opening by a leaf with architectural decoration of colonnades, niche housing a bronze bas-relief representing Hercules slaying the centaur Nessus. From this leaf discovers a compartment with drawers; on either side, it has four narrow drawers; the recessed base rests on six baluster feet joined by a spacer. The sides inlaid with veneer with diamond patterns. Cornice with grotesque decoration, topped with crowned eagles in gilded bronze. Side grips with chimera and putti decoration. Work late 18th early 19th century of quality in the style of 17th century cabinets. Dimensions 175 x 130 x 51 cm (small losses to the veneer)
