"Florentine Cabinet In Pear Wood And Ivory Circa 1700"
Late 17th-early 18th century Florentine cabinet in blackened pearwood with ivory inlay. The set is accompanied by silvered bronze spandrels and lion head handles. The cabinet opens with a double-latched door, revealing seven drawers and a second door with ivory inlay. The latter reveals the central box as well as two last small secret drawers. Later fabric application. Very good condition. A CITES issued by the Italian authorities is attached to the purchase, granting it certification on its period as well as on the purchase and resale of antique ivory.
