The table rests on 4 tapered, fluted legs trimmed with brass rods. They end with gilt bronze sabots.
The apron is decorated with gilt bronze scraper motifs, opening with two drawers stamped "A Lampre, 40 rue Amelot" on the lock.
The table opens at the top with 4 sides trimmed with felt.

A. Lampre is a cabinetmaker specializing in the manufacture of games tables of all styles for which he held a patent. He participated in the universal exhibitions of 1878 and 1889 where he obtained several medals. He practiced from 1882 to 1889 at 40 rue Amelot in Paris.
