The back of the mirror is decorated with inscriptions on the eccentric circle. a frieze of birds surrounded by stylized flowers4 lions surrounded by vines are represented in relief on the concentric circle.
The handle is in the shape of a half sphere pierced in the center with a toad motif.
These mirrors were signs of power and wealth in antiquity up to Japan.
