Pitcher with the effigy of King Gradlon, legendary king of Armorica and Cornwall, the base bears the words Me eo ar roue Grallon for I am King Gradlon, this polychrome earthenware pitcher published by Maison Keraluc around 1950 is the work of Pierre Toulhoat (1923-2014), an artist better known for his Breton jewelry creations. A copy of our model is exhibited at the Quimper museum and referenced in the book dedicated to the artist.
