"The Casbah Of Algiers. Jules Rousset (1840-1921) "
Beautiful view of an alley in the Casbah of Algiers painted on the motif. A beautiful atmosphere rendered by the powerful effects of light and by a certain simplicity excluding any anecdote, inviting us perhaps more to imagine the sounds of the city than to be satisfied with a gratuitous picturesque.
