Orientalist School Of The Late 19th Century.
Orientalist school of the end of the 19th century.
Mixed technique ink and oil paint on paper (Laminated on cardboard). In the style of the travel diary, a lively scene created on the motif. In the center camel drivers on their mounts seem to join the stop of a caravan. In the background a sketched mountainous landscape. Old frame (later) in wood and gilded stucco, note some losses and cracks. A slight fold in the center at the top of the scene.
Good overall presentation.
