"Louis & François Moreau (19th - 20th Century) Bronze: Polylobed Cup Of A Child On A Shell "
Polylobed bronze cup with medal patina, depicting a child holding a vase in his hands and pouring water into a shell-shaped fountain. This bronze is signed on the back by Louis and François Moreau, sons of Jean Baptiste Moreau (1795-1855), a famous sculptor. Auguste Moreau, known as "Louis Auguste" (1855-1919), joined forces with his brother Hippolyte François, known as "François Moreau" (1832-1927), to produce works together in the workshop at 14, rue Pelleport in Paris. This work is signed on the back "F& L Moreau"
