"Baccarat - Michelangelo Model Liqueur Decanter Mounted In Sterling Silver, Minerva"
Baccarat crystal liqueur bottle, Michelangelo (or Michel-Ange) model. The Michelangelo model, listed in the 1933 Baccarat Tableware catalog, was created in the late 1920s. The engraved arabesque design reminiscent of the decorations of the great Italian Master gave it its name. Its success allowed it to be produced in many forms, including vases, boxes, centerpieces, perfume bottles... Our carafe does not bear the signature of the crystal factory (production prior to 1936, when Baccarat replaced the paper label with the stamp). This is the luxury version with a solid silver neck rim, bearing the solid silver hallmark Minerva 1st Title (.950) and the hallmark of the silversmith Ravinet d'Enfert. Beautiful collector's item. It is in perfect condition. Height with stopper: 19.5cm Height without stopper: 16.5cm
