"Marseille 18th Century: Earthenware Plate With Floral Decor"
The number and perfection of the achievements of the earthenware factories in the 18th century poses in the absence of signature. Indeed the Fauchier, the Robert, the widow Perrin, offered to their rich clientele models sometimes very close in certain decorations. This is the case of this magnificent plate with perfect enamel, delicate flowers, elegant scalloped shape. A fine brown border underlines the edge. Note the absence of insects in the decoration.
The purpose is to be perfect as porcelaine.
