Beautiful high quality Indo-Persian, measuring 276 cm wide by 373 cm long.
This magnificent Persian rug takes up the shapes, patterns, colors, of ancient Tabriz with an exceptional decoration:
important and magnificent double medallions with multiple points and double long and important cut pendants.
Sumptuous floral decoration, ivory foliage and palms, luxuriant work, animals, and numerous cartouches and animals.
Precise work and great harmony, quality wool, minor wear and extraordinary border.

Around 1960 we can hardly imagine the immense work to knot such a marvel.
The quality of these pieces is not to be demonstrated, the work is fine, precise and durable.
The materials used are of first quality, which means that these carpets remain in very good condition of use, 50 to 70 years later. This carpet is clean, the wool is soft, beautifully knotted and finely tight as these wonders always are.
