Soap Factory Rug / Aubusson Rug. Circa 1960

A rectangular English green counter-field with floral braid, framed by ivory braid adorned with acanthus leaves and a bouquet of flowers in the salient corners, supports a spherical medallion, framed by a wreath of flowers and decorated in its center with a cylindrical composition with a sandblasted center.
A rich ivory "molded" figurative frame with an ovoid border completes the ensemble.
Pastel tones in the style of Aubusson rugs.
