Pair of gilt bronze candlesticks Charles X period early 19th century. The fluted baluster-shaped shafts end with delicately chiseled acanthus leaves. The flared sockets are decorated with palmettes, florets and acanthus leaves. They rest on richly chiseled circular bases. Original double patina mercury gilding in very good condition, cleaned by our workshop (inscription "MENE" on several elements not identified to date) Quality work from the Charles X period circa 1820.
