"Venetian Veneered Trumeau, 18th Century"
Important Venetian Trumeau with two bodies, made in the second half of the 18th century, internally veneered in walnut and various woods. The lower body has a tripartite wavy front, a folding top decorated with inlaid motifs containing a series of small compartments and drawers, the upper body opens with two mirrored doors with antique glass finely engraved with Neoclassical motifs. The entire structure is set on a wavy architectural line typical of the 18th century Venetian production of late Baroque taste with Rococo influences but already open to the Neoclassical taste in the engraved decorations.
