Embroidered Silk
We present this somewhat exceptional thing, it is a silk entirely embroidered with relief. A souvenir of the Far East campaign, Shanghai in 1934 and the tour in China until 1936. We see the soldier named Félix ROUSSEL as a child and Félix ROUSSEL with his uniform in a setting of lifebuoys and this liner a rooster symbolizing our France. This object is framed, unfortunately the frame needs to be restored. The name of Félix ROUSSEL is also mentioned on the bow of the boat, the colors of the French flags have of course faded over time and perhaps exposure to filtering sunlight.
