Art Nouveau – Solid silver coffee service (950/1000 silver, sterling)Coffee service from the Art Nouveau period, entirely made of solid silver, consisting of three pieces: a coffee pot, a sugar bowl and a milk jug.The coffee pot, ovoid in shape, rests on a flat base with a net. It is decorated with an openwork design, finely pierced. The high handle, openworked in a spiral, is decorated with a stem of stylized fruits and covered with a brown insulator. The hinged lid is topped with a stylized fruit-shaped grip. The sugar bowl is distinguished by its spherical shape, while the milk jug adopts the same ovoid silhouette as the coffee pot. Refined work from the Art Nouveau period, attributed to a North American silversmith.
