"Dynamic, Louis-charles Pinet De Gaulade - 132lx160hcm - No. 1539"
Louis-Charles Pinet de Gaulade (1920-2010) was a multi-talented Belgian artist. He expressed himself through painting, sculpture, illustration, and tapestry. Born in Belgium, he studied at the Beaux-Arts in Brussels and enriched his training with study visits to various European museums, including the Prado, the Louvre, and museums in the Netherlands and Italy. His work is diverse, ranging from figurative creations to abstract compositions. As a visual artist, he explored materials with an approach similar to painting. His skill in drawing allowed him to conceive abstract forms where figurative elements could be integrated into complex and controlled arrangements. He is particularly recognized for his tapestries, often described as "smoothed-ornate", which demonstrate his sense of material and composition. In keeping with tradition, this magnificent tapestry has undergone a thorough cleaning, the installation of a hand-sewn linen lining, and a careful inspection by our experts at the Galerie Lissier's Artisan Workshop. It is now ready to adorn your interior.GALERIE LISSIERHouse founded in 1991MEMBER OF THE SYNDICAT NATIONAL DE SNCAOShowroom in Paris 7th: Tuesday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.Workshop for cleaning and restoration of tapestries and carpets: by appointment onlyGalerie Lissier is a French family business specializing in the purchase, sale, appraisal, cleaning, restoration and conservation of tapestries, carpets, kilims and antique, modern and contemporary textiles.
