Elegant Louis XV style cartonnier cabinet, late 19th century, stamped RAULIN on the back. Rosewood veneer, chiseled and gilded bronze ornamentation. Curved upper part, opening onto six leather-covered cartonniers, interior lined with marbled paper. Lower part with two grilled doors, revealing eight cartonniers. Original lock and key, in working order. Solid oak frame. Usual restorations, french polish. Very good general condition Can be disassembled into two parts *Victor RAULIN, cabinetmaker and bronze artist active in Paris between 1878 and 1925, is renowned for the quality of his period furniture. He succeeded his father in 1878 and received several distinctions at the Universal Exhibitions of 1878 and 1889.
