Regency Period Pedimented Mirror
Regency period giltwood pediment mirror.
Its triangular, openwork pediment is carved with acanthus leaves and scrolling flowers, and topped with a shell.
Its mercury mirror is framed by a molded rod and then beveled glass reserves, themselves adorned with stylized shells in the corners and a flower medallion in the center.
The mirror is bordered by a Berain rod decorated on both sides with acanthus leaf falls topped with small flowers.
