Simon Alexandre Toudouze, 1850-1909, French landscape painter. Born in Paris, he was a pupil of his father, the painter Jean Marie Emile Toudouze and Adolphe Monticelli at the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français of which he was a member and lived in Aix les Bains (Savoie) where he died in 1909. Works in the Museums of Avignon, Brest, Bucharest, Chambéry, Dignes, Reims and Troyes. Artist listed in Bénézit. Listed on Artprice, Artnet, etc...
