"Tibet, 1930s/1950s, Bronze Sculpture Of Buddha."
Tibet, 1930/1950, superb bronze sculpture representing the head of Buddha. Buddha has an oval face, with downturned almond-shaped eyes. Curved eyebrows meet above a prominent nose and profiled lips with an exalted expression, seeming to smile. The streaks of hair form a line around the face. His earlobes are stretched long from a youthful past like a prince wearing heavy gold earrings. The Ushnisha protuberance above his head symbolizes his high level of spiritual development. Height 23 cm. Depth 13 cm. Good condition. Some traces of oxidation on the headdress without affecting its aesthetics. The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a well-known brand. We take particular care with our packaging by using optimal protection.
