"Socket Axe - Iran"
Axe with a blade spat out by a lion's mouth. The socket decorated with four double corded ribs ending in human heads, two animal heads at the ends. Bronze with green patina. Very well preserved. REGION: Iran, Luristan

PERIOD: 1st millennium BC (9th - 7th century BC).
