Louis Majorelle Art Nouveau Display Case "peacock Feathers"
Rare display cabinet in solid blond mahogany and courbaril veneer. It opens with two glass doors and a niche featuring a panel inlaid with peacock feathers. The angular uprights are molded and ribbed, the crosspieces are curved, and the sides are rounded at the top. Beveled glass, gilt bronze lock and key escutcheons, and adjustable shelves. This is the "Aux nénuphars" model, released without bronze ornamentation. Superb cabinetmaking quality and a beautiful patina! Art Nouveau period.
