" Daum Nancy Vase "with Thistles" "
Glass paste "onion" vase with acid-etched decoration, Art Nouveau, Nancy, early 20th century. Soliflore with swollen belly and long truncated neck on a heel, in multi-layered glass with a slightly red, ochre and anise-green granite base, central decoration acid-etched and enamelled in red and gold, with a composition of thistles. Signed under the base of the vase "DAUM NANCY" with the Lorraine cross, the signature allows us to date the vase to the years 1904-1914.
