Description:

Single-door wardrobe with one drawer, made of fir wood and dating back to the mid-18th century. The background is painted in a soft blue tone enriched by the patina of time. The structure features beveled uprights and a projecting upper cornice. The door is decorated with framed panels depicting stylized floral motifs in shades of red and dark green on an ivory background. The date inscribed at the top, 1848, refers to the execution of the second layer of painting. With careful observation, traces of the original decoration—applied around 1750 when the piece was built—are still visible beneath. The earlier painting was likely damaged and subsequently repainted. The iron hardware is in excellent condition, original and fully functional. The lock is particularly refined.
