Bird Lamp By Sabino Paris 1878-1961 Art Deco 1930 Era Daum, Lalique, d'Avesn, Muller
Artist: Marius-ernest Sabino
Important tall Art Deco bird light sculpture lamp circa 1930 by master glassmaker Marius-Ernest Sabino. It is made of thick molded-pressed glass. With a domed shape, the glass is crossed by geometric arcs to highlight a highly raised decoration of three stylized twirling birds. The lamp rests on a nickel-plated bronze frame and stepped base highlighted by a typically Art Deco geometric frieze with four legs. Very nice proportions allowing a diffusion of light and accentuating the decoration by its perspective. This lamp is electrified and perfectly functional. Signature stick inside the glass "Sabino" and numbering 4804P FRANCE
