Jacqueline Bechet-Ferber (1930-2020) - Oil on wood - St Jacques Rhuys PeninsulaOil on wood representing the port of St Jacques (Rhuys Peninsula in Brittany) Signature lower right: Jacqueline Bechet-Ferber (1930-2020) Trained as a sculptor, she has since become interested in painting, particularly watercolor. A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris, she won the first Grand Prix de Rome in sculpture in 1954. She also won the first Paul-Louis Weille prize at the Institut de France. Visible at the Galerie Courcelles Antiquités, at 97 rue de Courcelles, in the 17th arrondissement of Paris.
