"18th Century Wrought Iron Hearth Rack"
Wrought iron rack from the 13th century. Made up of a double sliding bar (the rack is inserted between two vertical parallel bars). Topped with an articulated ring. The height is adjusted by a button hook. It incorporates in its decoration a frieze made of circles, partly erased, a flower in the lower part and a button for the adjustment hook. The fixing ring is movable around its axis. The hook is finished with a bead. The whole is mounted by forged rivets (see the photos on the back). Its weight is 6.2 kg. Its closed height is 113 cm. Open to the last notch, its deployed height is 155 cm. Width 15 cm
