17th Century Wooden Panel Depicting Ladies, A Unicorn And A Dog.
This finely carved panel features a central flower adorned with garlands, then two oval panels, one adorned with a unicorn, the other with a dog behind a tree. At the ends stand two ladies: one recoils from a bird, while at the other, she stands erect and accepts the approach of the avian messenger. Excellent condition; a few non-functional wormholes have been treated for safety.
