"Monumental Art Deco Vase In Jade Glass And Wrought Iron By Daum And Majorelle, Galle Era 1920"
Superb large art-deco ball vase by Daum and Louis Majorelle. One of the most beautiful models for this large raspberry-colored jade glass vase, speckled with blue, inserted with a cane in a wrought iron frame created by Louis Majorelle. Beautiful decoration with 4 chevrons from which a burst of wrought iron wire starts. The glass was hot-blown inside. This piece is clearly referenced and indeed by Daum and Majorelle. We often pass off all glass and wrought iron vases as "Daum-Majorelle" when they are often "Lorrain" or "Delatte" vases. Piece signed at the tip under the vase with the name of the two artists. Identical model sold in the room in 2023 (see photo with screenshot). Model from around 1925. Perfect conditionLarge dimensions: 23 cm high, 25 cm wide, over 5.8 kgSuperb art deco vase, fits perfectly into the most modern interiors.
