Oblong box in soft Tournai porcelain decorated in polychromy on four sides with scenes of people in the foreground of river landscapes, with parts of cities on the horizon in faded light. The inside of the lid shows in full, a cupid caressing the hand of Venus, which is lying down, seen from behind, tasting the scent of some flowers. Clouds in the background, large fabric floating through the scene and two doves at the bottom. Inspired by a composition by Boucher. Painting by Meyer. Silver mount.
