Refined lamp in black lacquered metal with gilded decoration of cranes -symbol of longevity and happiness- and stylized vegetation. Formerly an oil lamp mounted on a Japanese-style bronze base.
The body in the shape of a double gourd typical of Japanese aesthetics, is finely decorated with hand-painted scenes: elegant cranes, flowers and symbolic rocks.
The period lampshade, in hand-painted paper mounted on a canvas, takes up this naturalist motif with cranes and stylized trees. Decorative and collector's item.
