Chinese Porcelain Kerosene Lamp With Bronze Figures And Globe, Napoleon III, 19th Century

Lamp made of polychrome Chinese porcelain, shaped like a coloquinte on a pedestal base, decorated with figures: a sage or immortal and a courtesan surrounded by butterflies, with large, stylized and colorful motifs, as well as knots, musical instruments, and various ritual objects; bronze mount (chiseled with vine motifs), with glass components (tube and globe), from the Napoleon III period, 19th century.

This lamp is in good overall condition and of superb quality. It consists of several parts—see photos. The mechanism likely needs servicing.

Please note: dirt on the bronze, a few minor defects in the enamel, some scratches on the glass elements, signs of age—please examine the photos carefully.
