Exceptional Solid Silver Dessert Flatware Set in the prestigious patternl called "LAETITIA" by ODIOT. Set composed of 6 Forks, 6 Spoons, and 6 Knives, a total of
18 Pieces with a rich decoration originally ordered by Laetitia Bonaparte, Mother of Napoleon. We find all the symbols symbolizing wealth, seduction, return from Egypt and splendor of the Empire ... with among others the palmettes, fleurons, Golden Calf surmounted by crossed horns of plenty with mascaron surmounted by a Peacock, Swans with outstretched wings, all on an amati background. The blades of the dessert knives are in stainless steel. Please note that this pzttern is still marketed by Odiot.
Masterly crafted from the highest quality silver, each piece bears the Minerva 1st Standard Hallmark
(.950) and the mark of Charles BOULENGER (hallmark with his name and a crescent moon) received in 1899, who will join the Maison Odiot in 1906. Part of the prestigious LAETITIA model Dessert-Ménagère in excellent condition, also revised and cleaned by our Goldsmith, small marks on the handles of the knives and micro-scratches from use.
