Born in 1849 in Montfort-sur-Risle, died in Rouen in 1928. Pupil of Morin and Seignemartin in Rouen. He was a professor at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Algiers (1872-1876) before joining Laurens's studio. Exhibited in 1883. Active in Rouen, Algiers and Paris.
Albert Lebourg is associated with the Rouen school and the Impressionist movement. He is famous for his atmospheric landscapes and views of the Seine. His works are characterized by their sensitivity to light and climatic variations
