"Large Miniature - Self-portrait Elisabeth Vigée Lebrun"
Large miniature by Berthe Matrod Desmurs born in 1869 representing a self-portrait of Mrs. Elisabeth Vigée-Lebrun (1755-1842) at her easel Signed "B.Matrod" lower left. It is presented in a pretty gilt bronze frame contemporary with the miniature. It has two small cracks along the height, which is quite usual given its size.
