Claude MIRVAL 1889 / 1973
Claude Mirval is a French sculptor born in Paris in 1889 and died in 1973. He worked in Paris during the interwar period, Art Deco period, and is considered an important artist of this period. Mirval created bronze and terracotta sculptures as well as decorative lighting, vases, and figurines.
Mirval's works:
Some of Mirval's most famous works are his bronze sculptures depicting dancers and athletes in motion, typical of the Art Deco aesthetic. He also worked on abstract sculptures, portraits, and mythological figures. Mirval's works were featured in several exhibitions, including the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs in Paris in 1927 and the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1937.
