The front features two ships (one with a French flag, the other with an English flag) under sail at sea. Sun and lace decorations on top and sides.
On the back, the text: “I have sailed the seas till almost blind inquest there are a place to find from rocks and sands. This bay is clear which makes me cast my anchor here. May we when sail and danger. We cast anchor on our native shore“ engraved in a diamond pattern in a jagged frame encircled by laurels.
