"Paris Porcelain Cup, Directoire Period"
Litron cup IN IMPECCABLE CONDITION in Paris porcelain (undetermined manufacturer, perhaps DARTE) from the Directoire period. For the saucer, RARE nuanced background decorated with a frieze of palmettes, for the cup, same nuanced background and palmette decoration around the edge, hand-painted fruit decoration of very high quality in a cartouche surrounded by a gold frieze. No trace of wear to the gold. The nuanced colored backgrounds are very rare.
