Elegant small chest made of walnut wood, dating from the early 1600s, featuring inlaid heraldic motifs: a noble coat of arms decorates the center of the fixed front panel, framed by stylized roses in the four corners. The surface is further enriched with pyrography, enhancing its decorative features.
The base is moulded and carved, resting on two front zoomorphic feet shaped like paws with three claws.The chest is in good condition, with replaced hardware. Likely origin: central Italy.
