"ancient Head Huntsman's Bandolier With The Coat Of Arms Of The Avarna Family From Altavilla
Important bandolier made in the second half of the 19th century in Vienna by the famous Viennese couture house of Moritz Tiller (1850-1918). The bandolier is crafted with a wide, heavy metallic braid, lined inside with leather and externally adorned with numerous bronze motifs inspired by the theme of hunting (pheasant, deer).
One of these ornaments is the coat of arms of the Avarna family, a noble Italian family descended from the royal House of Altavilla.
This bandolier was designed to complete the uniform of the head huntsman of this family.
Some inevitable signs of wear, but overall, in good condition for a rare item.
