Very pretty and rare cutlery service in the Art Nouveau style and period (1890-1910) in solid silver by the Delheid brothers in Brussels. It is complete for 12 people. The first owners, fortunately for any future owners, resisted the temptation to have initials or coats of arms engraved. Each piece has been delicately repolished to restore its original shine without damaging the decorations or the very pretty art nouveau engraving on the fish cutlery. The interior of their solid oak box has been completely restored and reupholstered with antioxidant felt by Gainerie Brainoise in Braine-le-Château, Belgium, the last gainier, custodian of this centuries-old know-how.
