Pierre Lebe Coffee Table

Rare coffee table by Pierre Lèbe (1929-2008) Slate and ceramic inlay, oak frame, metal legs. Signed on the top Pierre Lebe's tables were produced in only a few copies, each piece is unique. From 1948 to 1953, Pierre Lèbe trained in Paris, at the École des Métiers d'Arts, then at the École des Arts Décoratifs. This very comprehensive education was necessary for him to quickly acquire perfect technical mastery. In 1970, he left his position as a visual arts teacher to devote himself fully to his artistic project.
