Oil on wood panel, signed Claude Firmin, dated 1914. Painting depicting a woman at the edge of a line of tall bundles of wood. A member of the Group of Thirteen, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1889 to 1922. He was also Director of the Ecole des Beaux Arts d'Avignon from 1937 to 1941. Some of his works are featured in the Calvet and Louis Vouland Museums.
